And that was 2023

That is the Soirée done again for another year. This one exceeded every expectation I had (except for perhaps audience numbers, but we'll work on that with your help). Thank you so much to the artists who performed for us. Monique Clare, Amaidí, Rebecca Wright & Donald McKay, Aliya Grace, Robert Bloodwood and The Aristocats. You were all fabulous.

 

Thank you to the volunteers from the Music Supporters Group of The Gap State School P&C who put in the effort to make this event happen. That I could just leave the decorations and the kitchen and other bits and pieces to you and it got done magnificently.

 

The art exhibition from The Gap Creative Inc. was brilliant and beautiful. It was so nice to see so many exquisite artworks from local artists.

 

The catering from Teresa at The Gap State High School was delectable. That there was so little left over at the end is a testament to how much it was loved.

 

The support from Cr Steven Toomey, Jonty Bush - Member for Cooper and RubyRed Jewellery was so very much appreciated. This event could not happen without that support.

 

To Isaac for handling sound. It is so nice to hand that very important job off to someone and have it handled professionally and efficiently.

 

And to the audience who came along to listen, see and experience the talents of our local musicians and artists. Thank you so very much for supporting this event. It only makes me so much more keen to do it better next year.
