Robert Bloodwood

Robert Bloodwood's latest musical project is the creation of folk music and dance for the imaginary country of Diasporia, where everyone belongs, and everyone is welcome. Diasporian folk tunes can be Slipples (a cycle of 10), Jiggles (a cycle of 7), Salsa de Lunas (a cycle of 13), and Bachata delle cinque (a cycle of 21), as well as jigs ( a cycle of 6). While Robert plays them on the ukulele, they can be played on any instrument.

These tunes are meant to break down heavy material vibrations, and allow us to experience and celebrate our common humanity.
