The Aristocats
The Aristocats is Geordi Hills, Lachlan Hobart & Tariq Soliman’s musical side project. They are brought together by their love of modern jazz fusion music, and enjoy jamming as a piano, bass and drums trio.
As high school mates from The Gap State High School, they were heavily involved in the music program, performing in both the big band and percussion ensemble of which won numerous awards and competitions. Naturally they began jamming from this time, and after graduating in 2018 and 2020 have kept their skills up over the years with casual jam sessions.
Expect to hear some slick piano licks, groovy bass lines and tasty drum fills. The Aristocats will be performing arrangements of modern fusion tracks, with elements of jazz, progressive rock and even funk.
