The tickets are on sale, but we bet you would like to know who is performing. We can answer that now, as we are revealing the artists who will be performing at the 2022 Soirée, making it a night of fabulous music that is not to be missed.

Soirée 2022 Artists

Tessitura Acapella will be performing again after a great reception from last year's event. The local acapella group have been audience favourites at the Soirée for a few years now with their complex vocal harmonies injecting new life to well-known tunes.

The Vocalise Duo will also be returning from last year's event, bringing back their exquisite cello and piano sounds to take the audience with them on a journey through the opening movement of Édouard Lalo's Cello Concerto in D minor.

Bluesuits Quartet is a small group jazz ensemble formed in 2021 after playing together in the rhythm section of their high school band. They will be performing compositions by artists such as Miles Davis and the fusion collective Vulfpeck.

Aliya Grace, a former student of The Gap State School who began her journey in music in the instrumental music program, will be performing some original pieces and covers on guitar.

Viridian Quartet, formed in 2021 by a group of dedicated string players from the University of Queensland with significant solo, chamber and orchestral experience, will be joined by an outstanding pianist to perform Dvorak's Piano Quintet Op. 81.

There is one more group that will be announced very soon that will complete the program.

Grab your tickets now to hear these great performances at the Soirée on Saturday 4th June at The Gap State School MPB. Doors open at 5:30pm, enjoy a drink and some food, and browse the art gallery before the show starts at 6:30pm.
