Viridian Quartet

Viridian Quartet, comprised of dedicated UQ string players, always aim to present inspired and informed performances. Lili Stephens (Violin 1), Isabelle Watson (Violin 2), Daniel Casey (Viola) and Stacey Weir (Cello) are accomplished musicians with significant solo, chamber and orchestral experience. In coming together, they take ownership of their parts and inhabit the personality of their respective roles. Formed in 2021, the group have performed in collaboration with Opera Queensland for Monteverdi’s Songs of Love and War at Caravanserai. They are thrilled to be working with outstanding pianist Jeremy Sun, a prize winner of numerous international competitions, on Dvorak’s Piano Quintet Op. 81.
