Vacant Gaze
Vacant Gaze is a Meanjin-based band whose journey began when some avid followers of the local music scene decided to have a jam and make some music of their own. With diverse influences spanning 60s surf rock, 70s folk and 00s indie punk, their shimmering, jangly guitars and ethereal vocals offer something for everyone - from intricate, emotional melodies to hard-hitting, post punk performances. For over two years now they’ve been writing, gigging, and developing their style, and are super excited to share their first single 'Afternoon', set to drop in the middle of the year.
